June 28, 2008 - "Running for the Rainbow"
The 6th Annual 5K Run/Walk was held on Saturday, June 28th with a new twist This was a "predicted" run/walk! So how did it work? Each runner or walker submitted his or her predicted finish time at registration (along with their watches of course!). The person closest to their predicted finish time won the race.
April 26, 2008 - Over the Rainbow Auction Gala XIX
The 2008 "Over the Rainbow Auction Gala XIX" was held at Riverport Landing (property of Cerner) in Kansas City, Missouri. This year's theme "Passport To Exotic Places For Happy Faces" was a fun evening, benefiting children and adults with developmental disabilities.

November 17, 2007 - Wreaths & Wits
This fun and exciting "new" event allowed table-teams of 8 to compete against other table-teams to claim the title of "Most Questionably Intellectual" team in Eastern Jackson County. The event was held at the new Blue Springs Elks facility. The evening was kicked-off with a silent auction of holiday wreaths.
September 24, 2007 - Rainbow Center 8th Annual Golf Classic
This year's annual golf classic was held at Lakewood Oaks Golf Club.
June 24, 2007 - "Running for the Rainbow"
In memory of Marc Charde – this year's annual 5K Run/Walk was held at Burr Oak Woods in Blue Springs. Thank you to everyone who participate to raise almost $14,000 for programming for the children and adults with disabilities.
