Rainbow Summer Day Camp
Rainbow Center offers a Summer Day Camp for individuals with special needs. The campers enjoy activities such as: horseback riding, boating, fishing, Worlds of Fun, movies, hiking, swimming, Tunnel Voyage, cooking, crafts, sports and games, children's theater and museums.

Program Presentation is a big hit!
One of the fun parts of the Rainbow Center's Extended School year is the Program Presentation. This summer the theme was "Children's Literature" with four favorite books selected representing our favorite animal tales. Students tried out for speaking and reading parts, creative murals were painted, hats, costumes and masks decorated and songs were learned.
All of the children did a terrific job for each individual part. Our greeter, Tim, certainly approached his job very seriously and one would think he had great PR experience.
